Our story began with an original handmade wedding invitation of two partners finally able to marry in Washington State. It was a hand drawn heart shape with the handwritten words “You = Me” in the center.
I loved the simple meaning and quickly uploaded the image on my computer, colored the outline with rainbow colors (to signify the gay community) printed the shirts and my husband and I wore them to the beautiful lavish wedding. The meaning is Unity. Unity is not sameness. Unity is freedom. You = Me® crosses all cultures, continents, sexes and religions worldwide. The nature of the product is to raise awareness on “releasing Judgement” for a more peaceful community. A Common Unity.
You = Me® translates into several different languages including sign language. In You = Me® there is only one recognition as the human race.
